Earnings & Payments
ASG Data Refinery pays workers in BSV (Bitcoin SV) micropayments. You earn for every task where your label matches the consensus.
How You Earn
- You label a task and submit your answer
- Consensus is reached when enough workers agree on the same label
- Settlement runs and distributes payment to all workers whose labels matched the consensus
- BSV is sent directly to your wallet
Per-Label Pricing
The standard rate is $0.04 USD per label at current BSV exchange rates.
The actual BSV amount you receive varies slightly based on:
- The real-time BSV/USD exchange rate at settlement time
- The task type (some specialized tasks pay more)
- The fee split (workers receive 73% of the per-label fee)

When You Don't Earn
You are not paid when:
- Your label disagrees with the consensus
- The task has no consensus (all workers disagreed) — no one is paid
- Your account is suspended or banned
Not earning on a task does not cost you anything — there are no penalties or deductions. You simply don't receive payment for that specific task.
Tracking Your Earnings
In the Worker App
- Dashboard → shows your current balance in satoshis (sats)
- Earnings tab → detailed breakdown of earnings over time
- History tab → per-task view showing which tasks you were paid for
Understanding Satoshis
BSV amounts are measured in satoshis (sats):
- 1 BSV = 100,000,000 sats
- At $0.04/label with a 73% worker share, each consensus label earns approximately 0.0292 USD worth of BSV
The exact sats amount depends on the BSV/USD rate at settlement time.
Wallet Setup
To receive payments, you need a BSV-compatible wallet.
Recommended: HandCash
HandCash is the recommended wallet for ASG workers:
- Simple paymail addresses (yourname@handcash.io)
- Mobile app for iOS and Android
- Instant BSV transactions
Setting Up
- Download HandCash from your app store
- Create an account and note your paymail address
- Your paymail will be linked to your worker profile for settlements
Keep your wallet credentials safe. ASG Data Refinery will never ask for your wallet password or recovery phrase. If someone asks, it's a scam.
Payment Schedule
Settlements are processed automatically after consensus is reached. There is no manual payout request — when consensus resolves on a task you labeled correctly, payment is queued for the next settlement batch.
Settlement timing depends on:
- How quickly consensus is reached (requires all assigned workers to label)
- The settlement batch schedule
Disputes
If you believe a payment is missing or incorrect:
- Check your History tab to verify the task reached consensus
- Verify your trust score — suspended accounts do not receive payments
- Contact support@asgrefinery.io with the task ID and details
